A new technology called Teller Safe has been introduced into Tanzania financial sector to allow companies deposit huge sum of money within their office.
“The machine is simply a bank within one’s office. What the banker has to do is to connect the machine to its computer system and when the money has been deposited, the bank issues the customer with a receipt” said Mr Zacharia Kinyula, Account Manager, Business Machines Tanzania Limited (BMTL)
