On Wednesday, 8th February 2017, President Nana Akufo Addo of Ghana sworn into office 12 more ministers elected and approved by the parliament. He charged them to work towards bringing progress and prosperity to the West African country. The ceremony comes 11 days after the first batch of 13 ministers were sworn into office last month.

“We have to be up to the responsibility and work together in the spirit of genuine cooperation to realize their hopes. History demands no less from us,” said President Nana Akufo Addo.

According to President Addo, Ghanaians have placed their faith squarely in the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) to bring about the transformation of their social and economic circumstance that will lead to the progress and prosperity of the nation.
