Co-Nvest Ltd, has delisted its shares from the Botswana Stock Exchange (BSE).

In a public statement, the bank’s board said its shares will be delisted and removed from trading at the Botswana bourse by the end of this month. “With effect from the 30 January, 2015, the shares will cease to be listed on the official list of the BSE, adding that as of the 26th January, 2015, ABC Holdings Limited Shareholders will no longer be able to trade their shares on the BSE,” read a statement from the board.

Founded by Bob Diamond of Atlas Merchant Capital LLC and Ashish Thakkar, founder of Mara Group Holdings Limited, ABC Holdings’ parent company Atlas Mara was listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange in December 2013.

Last week, ABC Holdings also announced the appointment of Zimbabwean banker Blessing Mudavanhu as acting Group CEO and Wallace Siakachoma as acting Chief Financial Officer, pending the obtaining the regulatory approval. Mudavanhu has been with ABC Holdings for nearly six years, serving as group chief risk officer since joining the group in 2009. Mudavanhu has worked for many years in financial sector as director of global risk management at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, New York, before joining ABC holdings.

Siakachoma on the other hand has been with ABC Holdings for 12 years, serving for the past six years as group finance executive where he provided leadership in all matters relating to financial reporting, planning and control.
