Online hotel booking portal Jovago says it has expanded its operations into South Sudan, in a bid to reach a wider audience and bring easy and transparent hotel booking to users.

“This latest expansion underlines our prevailing success in Africa and marks another exciting chapter for Africa’s most popular online booking platform,” Marek Zmyslowski, Jovago’s Managing Director said.

Founded by Africa Internet Holding (AIH), owners of online platforms such as JUMIA, Kaymu, and Lamudi, Jovago has recorded success in Nigeria, Kenya and Senegal and its expansion into South Sudan will not only attract customers who are interested in the tourism opportunities available in the region but will also provide a wider range of African hotel options for users to choose from.

“South Sudan has a growing hotel industry that shows great potential. It has a wide range of high-quality hotels and as its tourism industry continues to grow, Jovago will be able to provide its customers with an efficient and secure way to book hotels in the region online,” Zmyslowski stated.

Although Jovago already has a portfolio of about 3000 listings of great African hotels, it plans to increase this number as it expands while bringing the best online booking experience to a larger audience across the continent.

The online firm’s ability to pay attention to detail and ensure the quality and delivery of service of listed hotels positions it as a trustworthy and organized platform to its existing and potential customers.
