In a move that is basically aimed at promoting trade in the African continent, GPS satellite technology maker, Garmin, this week said its Southern African unit will be hosting a trade mission in Accra, Ghana’s capital, between the 12th and 16th of next month (May).

The end-goal of this mission is to connect potential industries in West Africa that have solid distribution and reselling competencies and a demonstrable proof of effectively advancing brands into their chosen markets.

Garmin has put up for sale more than 100 million products globally and has grasped the fact that it is critical to have a correct combination of “channel partners, products and tools” existing in each country to give any product support.

Garmin has global annual revenues of more than $2.5 billion and operations in 54 countries throughout the world.
