Uganda has another opportunity to market its tourism sector as the East African nation will be hosting the upcoming 64th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference (CPC). The summit will hold from September 22-29, the country’s Speaker of the Parliament, Rebecca Kadaga revealed while explaining preparations towards the summit. 

Ms Kadaga spoke about the official launch of the web portal (www.cpc2019.org) for the event, an interactive site with rich information about the conference and different tourism aspect that will attract tourist.

“There is going to be money in the economy and population in the short run but in the long run, we shall be marketing our country for tourism and investment,” the Speaker said. The last time Uganda hosted the conference was in 1967.
