Following a similar launch in Botswana last month, global workplace provider Regus has announced the opening its first center in Windhoek, Namibia, bringing the number of its African network to 18 markets.

Regus provides workplaces, with products and services ranging from fully-equipped offices to professional meeting rooms, business lounges.

Its business centre in Namibia is located at the Maerua Mall, a commercial and retail hotspot in Windhoek with facilities that include office space, meeting rooms, walk-in business lounge, virtual office services, high speed wifi and professional admin support.

By using Regus’ flexible workplaces, companies can assess their prospects without having to commit to long-term leases or invest upfront in property. And with a fully-connected workplace and trained professional support staff already in place, they can start work immediately, the London-listed company said in a statement.

Regus says its presence in Namibia will help it explore the opportunities in various sectors including mining, tourism, construction, logistics, agriculture and financial services.

“In Africa, and globally, we will continue to increase our support for businesses in 2014 and beyond. We’ll extend our network and carry on developing the innovative products and services that back our customers’ growth,” said Mark Dixon, Regus Plc. CEO.

Namibia, a country in Southern Africa, is predicted to deliver 5.3 percent GDP growth in 2014.
