Gender based discrimination is a global issue. But even though conversations around gender inequality and women stereotypes are discussed around the world today, the dynamics for change are far less prevalent in certain African societies.

To celebrate International Women’s Day, we need to start by taking a closer look at how how we see women in Nigeria. We asked children in Lagos state, ‘where is a woman’s place?’ Here’s what they shared:
