One of Africa’s largest e-commerce platforms, Jumia, is set to launch ‘Jumia Mall’ to better serve its consumers across 14 countries. This new service will give customers access to over 50 official partner brands, Jumia Global (international vendors) or many quality vetted local resellers (the marketplace).

“We are on a mission to build trust in online shopping. As part of this, we have partnered with over 50 brands to launch their Official Online Stores with Jumia Mall. This allows customers to shop from the official suppliers if they choose to. And for brands to differentiate their official suppliers from the wider marketplace,” Jumia Kenya Managing Director Sam Chappatte says.

In April this year, Jumia was listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).
