Ciara’s recent visit to Nigeria for Love Like a Movie (LLAM) is one that she will always remember. Hosted by the award-winning musician, Dare Art Alade, the third edition of the Nigerian concert, LLAM3, was a huge success. Although LLAM has recorded two previous successful editions, this year, things were kicked up a notch with a brilliant line up of activities, high energy performances and, of course, the presence of Grammy award-winning superstar, Ciara.

Ciara, who arrived Lagos last Saturday, February 27th for the event on Sunday, appears to have had quite a blast in Nigeria and was sure to document every precious moment, starting with her arrival in the city of Lagos. The excited star shared a short video of her arrival riding in from the airport, “Hey guys, I’m here in Nigeria …”

Though the LLAM3 concert has received nothing but rave reviews so far, something else became a trend today and Nigerians are thrilled about it. Earlier in the day, Ciara posted videos of her dancing barefooted on the streets of Lagos, on social media. No doubt, the world is quite familiar with Ciara’s dancing prowess, but certainly not with the 30-year old doing local Nigerian dance moves to Nigerian songs – it was a first and she totally nailed it.

From doing the Shoki and Etighi to Iyanya’s Kurukere, to just plain grinding to Tekno’s Duro, Ciara was clearly having the time of her life, learning these Nigerian dance moves. “UNREAL!!” she captioned it. “#Dancing, Vibing, and Learning #Nigerian Dance In The Streets Of #Lagos!#DolphinEstates. I Couldn’t Leave Without Doing This! The Soul, The Culture, The Passion Here Is Unreal!!”

However, besides being an exceptional dance student, Ciara participated in some other rewarding activities:

Visited schools and interacted with students.

She learnt to speak pidgin

She got the famous Yoruba Iro and Buba which she wore during her visit to the schools

Surely, Ciara had some of the best times of her life in Nigeria and going by the feedback from local fans, the superstar is welcome here any time.
