CFA Society Nigeria, one of the member societies of CFA Institute in Nigeria is billed to host professionals and policymakers in the investment ecosystem at the National Investment Conference 2018. The 2-day conference themed “Let’s Measure Up” is scheduled to hold between 8-9 November 2018 at Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.

CFA Society Nigeria’s Investment Conference is the investment industry’s leading event that brings together senior executives, regulators, academics and other professionals to discuss topics that promote the development of the industry. Both international and local speakers are expected at the conference, which begins at 8:00 am daily. The conference will also provide a platform for the private and public sectors to interact and hold discussions as it concerns the investment climate in Nigeria.

In the line up of events for the conference, there will be a Women in Investment Management (WIM) Workshop in the second day of the conference. The workshop will be facilitated by Ms Carla Harris, a globally renowned speaker, author and Vice Chairman & Managing Director at Morgan Stanley.

According to the organizers of the event, Ms Carla will be sharing her career experience as one of the few black women that have risen to the top of the investment banking/asset management profession globally. She will be joined by other leading female executives in the investment industry as speakers at this event. Also, free copies of Carla Harris’ book – “Strategize to Win” – will be given to all attendees of the WIM Workshop as well as a book signing by the author.

Another high point of the event is an on-stage interview of His Excellency, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and the Chairman of Nigeria’s Economic Management Team during the conference. An opportunity for participants to hear about Nigeria’s Ease of Doing Business reforms as well as Monetary and Exchange Rate Policies in an election year.

Participants can start registering for the conference on the society’s website. The early registration features a combo ticket for the Nigeria Investment Conference and WIM Workshop for 60,000 NGN while the Nigeria Investment Conference only fee is set at 50,000 NGN and the Women in Investment Management Workshop fee is 35,000 NGN. Prices revert to 80,000 NGN, 70,000 NGN, and 50,000 NGN respectively after the early bird registration closes on the 24th of October, 2018.
