The 17th edition of the World Economic Forum on Africa is taking place in Kigali, Rwanda from the 11th to 13th May 2016. This meeting themed “connecting Africa’s resources through digital transformation,” is being attended by over 1200 participants from over 70 countries. The participants for today’s plenary sessions include Akinwunmi Adeshina – President Africa Development Bank, Jean-Philbert Nsengimana – Minister of Youth and Information & Communications Technology, Rwanda, Arnold Kamanzi – Trainer, Africa Code Week, Aphrodice Mutangana – kLab General Manager and ACW country ambassador, Rwanda. They will be leading discussions on the following themes: ‘An Action Agenda for raising Africa’s Competitiveness,’ ‘How can we foster digital literacy as a basic skill for African youth?’ ‘#InternetForAll – Can we connect 25 million additional people to the internet in East Africa in the next three years?’ ‘How can Africa become an integrated continent with free movement of people, goods and talent?’ and ‘How can Africa become an integrated continent with free movement of people, goods and talent?’
