The 22nd Edition of the Nigerian Economic Summit (NES22) is taking place at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja from today 10th to 12th October 2016. The forum themed “Made in Nigeria” is attended by hundreds of delegates and stakeholders. The theme “Made in Nigeria” was appropriately adopted for this year’s conference due to the need to embrace self- sufficiency as a viable alternative to improve Nigeria’s dwindling economy.

The participants of the summit are coming together to make propositions, strategies and communiqués, which will be submitted to the government and private bodies/stakeholders for use and adoption.

Discussions are centered on the themes:
• Improving the state of the economy
• Reducing the cost of governance
• Entrenching the culture of “Made-In-Nigeria
• Improving the general security situation
• Imbedding accountability at all levels
• Breaking Through Macroeconomic Headwinds.
• Turning Ideas into Industry: Technology and Innovation As A Key Driver for Made in Nigeria
