German automobile manufacturer, Volkswagen (VW), has opened an office in Malawi via a partnership with a new local agent, CFAO Malawi Limited. The moves marks Volkswagen’s first official entry into the South-eastern African state.

“VW is an exciting brand and we look forward to giving our customers an opportunity of seeing a prestigious brand and the services we offer,” said CFAO’s managing director, David Blair.

Volkswagen (VW) is the biggest German automaker and the second largest in the world. It is headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. It designs, manufactures and distributes passenger and commercial vehicles, motorcycles, engines and turbo machinery, and offers related services including financing, leasing and fleet management.
