Uganda Airlines has finally firmed up its order for two A330-800 airliners with Airbus and will commence commercial flights in August.

According to the Minister of Works and Transport,  Monica Azuba, the newly acquired aircraft are first in the series and Uganda Airlines will be the first country in Africa to fly them.

In the meantime, Uganda has signed 47 Bilateral Air Services Agreements with other countries which will need to be activated.
