Lome, the capital city of Togo, is set to anchor the first Africa best practices forum, taking place from February 26th to 27th. The Forthcoming event will attract over 200 people from various countries in Africa.

The Africa Best Practices Forum is a platform for exchange and business, bringing together Specialists from across Africa and around the world. Representatives from public and political administrators. Private sector company leaders, and social players, to share their experience of successful reforms that stimulate growth and create employment opportunities.

“Because the level of investment depends on reforms undertaken by African states, there is an urgent need to accelerate these reforms to promote social and economic change, with the private sector acting as a lever,” concludes Arsene Johnson, the forum sponsor.

The two-day forum will take on subject matters with regards to: legal and administrative reform, government modernization, creation of an environment favorable to private sector development and sintegration of multilateral instruments.

Pan-African bank Ecobank, recruiting agency AfriSearch and company Ellipse communication are the bodies pulling efforts together, beside the support of the World Bank and West African development Bank (BOAD) to make the forum a successful one.
