American business magazine, Forbes, has listed 15 of the wealthiest people in tech.

Bill Gates- Currently the richest person in the world, Bill is the co-founder of Microsoft. The 59 year old business tycoon is worth $79.2 billion.

Larry Ellison – The former CEO and co-founder of Oracle is the 5th richest man in the world. At the age of 70, he is worth $54.3 billion.

Jeff Bezos – The 51-year old CEO and founder of ecommerce company, Amazon, is ranked 15th in the global wealth list with a net worth of $34.8 billion.

Mark Zuckerberg – The founder and CEO of social network, Facebook. The 16th richest person in the world, he is worth $33.4 billion. He is 30 years old.

Larry Page – The 19th richest person in the world, he is the co-founder and CEO of Google. The 41 year old is worth $29.7 billion.

Sergey Brin – He is the Director of special projects at Google and co-founder, ranked as the 20th richest person. He is 40 years old and has a net worth of $29.2 billion.

Jack Ma – Jack is the chairman and founder of Chinese e-commerce company, Alibaba. This 50-year old entrepreneur is ranked 33rd richest in the world with a net worth of $22.7 billion.

Steve Ballmer – He is a former CEO of Microsoft and the 35th richest person in the world. The 58-year old is worth $21.5 billion.

Laurene Powell Jobs – A wife to the late Apple co-founder, Steve Jobs, and chair of the Emerson Collective, Laurene was handed Steve’s fortune worth $19.5 billion. The contributing sources for this wealth is both Apple and Disney.

Michael Dell – Michael is the chairman and CEO of computer technology company, Dell. With a net worth of $19.2 billion, he is the 47th richest person in the world.
