The Chelsea loanee has not played for Nigeria since the 2014 World Cup.
West Ham United fans were impressed with what they saw from Chelsea loanee Victor Moses since he headed to the club on Transfer Deadline day. The former Wigan Athletic attacker impressed in the early season for Slaven Bilic. Despite that form he was surprisingly left out of the Nigeria squad for the World Cup qualifier against Swaziland in November. Moses was due to play for the Super Eagles in recent friendly games against Congo DR and Cameroon but pulled out of proceedings and later went on to Twitter to explain why he was not playing. He revealed he was not fully fit, amid rumours of a lack of commitment for the national team. His commitment to the Super Eagles has continued to be under scrutiny in Nigeria but this week he has bit back over the claims. Moses has not played for Nigeria since the 2-0 defeat to France in the World Cup back in 2014 and he will be hoping to get back into contention for the Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign which gets under way next month.
