The current crisis which has been described as the season II of the hijab crisis is assuming a dangerous dimension and there is an urgent need to put out the fire which religious leaders are stoking.  The controversy in the government owned schools over hijab as been on since 2012. The crisis rested in 2013 after the Muslim community went to court over the issue, but the judgement of Justice Jide Falola triggered a fresh crisis as he said Muslim Students should be allowed to wear hijab because it is their fundamental right.
 
Aregbesola denied to have implemented the judgement of Justice Jide Falola which allowed Muslim students use Hijab to schools.
