Gunmen, suspected to be herdsmen, allegedly invaded communities in Adamawa and Kaduna state, leaving many dead, injuring scores and many have been declared missing.
Fighting is still raging in remote parts of the communities as the suspected herdsmen attack defenseless farmers and burn villages as they move towards their destination.
Mr Lumsan Dili, a representative of Demsa Constituency in Adamawa State House of Assembly, called for serious security intervention to prevent the situation from degenerating to full blown war as the affected villagers are mobilizing for reprisal attack.
