It appears President Buhari paid attention to all the criticism he faced over the inclusion of women in his cabinet and sought to appease Nigerians by including more women than he did in the Federal Executive Council as 13 of the 36 appointees are women. The country took note of this and people have applauded the effort made on social media.

From the recent deployments, that were effective when the announcement was made, President Buhari seems to have cut down the number of Ministries from 32 to 24. And though the President gave no reason for the mass dismissal of former permanent secretaries, many Nigerians believe the drastic measure was taken in a bid to reposition an administration that will effect the ‘change agenda.’
