Some months ago, Slot Systems Limited collaborated with Industrial and General Insurance Plc (IGI), a leading provider of insurance and risk management services to launch ‘free screen insurance’. Now, Pointek has taken the lead to redefine the mobile phone and electronics industry by introducing phone insurance in Nigeria.

“The innovative service launched by the company is aimed at allaying the fears of mobile phone users all over the country”, said Emeka Oguchi, Pointek Managing director.

He further stated the initiative will save customers from the stress and high-cost of replacing their mobile phones and urged customers to take advantage of the insurance plan which provides cover and compensation in the event of the loss, and a cost-effective way to protect it for a modest premium.

Under this insurance policy, Pointek bears the cost of replacing any lost mobile phone that was purchased at any of its outlet alongside free damage screen replacement. Customers are also assured of continued value-added service and first-class after-sales support; an important tool for both manufacturers and customers.
