Konga.com, one of Nigeria’s leading online megastores has just added over 100,000 books to its website making it the largest provider of knowledge and entertainment in West Africa.

Konga is owned by Sim Shagaya who is a serial technology and media entrepreneur who has worked for Google, RealNetworks, Microstrategy. He holds degrees from George Washington U, Dartmouth and Harvard. He is the founder of DealDey, a Groupon kind-of group-buying site that offers its members in Lagos discounted deals on several kinds of products and services.

The online shopping business in Nigeria, though young has grown extensively within the last few years giving best deals in the online sale of different products ranging from phones, computers, cars & more, promising varied competitive rates in products and services to appeal to customers.

In June 2012, Konga was founded by former Google Africa head, Sim Shagaya.
