On Sunday, an emergency landing occurred at Nairobi’s international airport, with zero casualties recorded. However, the emergency landing prompted the authorities to temporarily close the runway.

According to the Kenya Airport Authority, the plane took off from Somalia and landed at the airport with its belly and veered off the runway. The Kenya Airports Authority reported on Twitter that, the plane had four people on board during the emergency landing at about 4.55 p.m. (1355 GMT) at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Without any confirmed details about the flight or type of plane, the officials diverted all incoming flight to other airports.
