With a growing list of customers that cut across various industries in West Africa, communications services company, Main One, has expanded its enterprise and connectivity solutions to West Africa’s largest city, Ibadan, Nigeria.

This is in line with the company’s commitment to enhance rapid broadband penetration across Nigeria.

Its expansion into the region is also driven by the growing demand for reliable connectivity solutions, increased need for virtual private networks between organisational branches, as well as increased security challenges faced by businesses and institutions in the South West region of Nigeria.

Main One said through its collaboration with various telecommunications and national long distance operators, it would be able to offer its enterprise customers in the region, and showcase its ability to deploy, manage and remotely automate network and compute resources in Nigeria, from any location.

Speaking at the Business Connectivity seminar held in collaboration with Phase 3; Head of Sales for Main One in Nigeria, Bolanle Ogundogba, said: “Most multinational and business enterprises are increasingly looking for growth opportunities in the South West states (of Nigeria) such as Ogun, Oyo, Osun, among others.

“This expansion therefore creates connectivity challenge for the average Information Technology (IT) Head who needs to interconnect his branches, using fast and reliable access to enhance business-critical systems without the significant capital expenditure (CAPEX) budget required to build infrastructure locally.”

“The proliferation of educational institutions and learning centres in the region also provides Main One the opportunity to meet customer demand for scalable services in the state and its environs, and ensure its reliable connectivity solutions keep organisations at pace with the speed of business transformation, and also pave the way for future growth.”
