At the annual Forbes Africa Under 30 Meet up that took place at the Houghton Hotel in Johannesburg, the fifth annual Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 list was released in a special issue of the magazine to honour young changemakers across Africa.

This list features a total of 120 young African innovators with 26 Nigerians on the list. This is an increase from 90 people from the previous year. All honorees are under the age of 30, in each of the four categories- business, technology, creatives and sport.
