For the fourth consecutive year, Euromoney Magazine has recognized Guaranty Trust Bank Plc (GTBank) as ‘Best Bank in Nigeria’; this was contained in a statement issued by the bank on Wednesday.

In the statement, the bank said the award, which was presented in London at the 2012 Euromoney Awards for Excellence dinner, was to recognize financial institutions that had recorded feat achievements.

The award was received on behalf of GTB by the bank’s Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Segun Agbaje, who attributed the award to GTB’s well-defined operating strategy, passion and commitment of its employees.

He noted the bank’s adherence to core business values such as hard work, discipline and excellence; and appreciated the bank’s teeming customers for persistent patronage and support over the years.

“Guaranty Trust Bank will continue to seek innovative ways of offering its stakeholders exceptional service,” he added.
