Google Nigeria will be hosting a web Fair Trade at the City Hall, Catholic Mission Street in Onikan, Lagos this Thursday and Friday.

The web fair tagged: Get Nigerian Business Online 2012 is open to thousands of business owners who wants to open a web domain for their businesses.

The initiative, which was first launched in September last year will help SMEs create a free web site.

According to Google’s Country Manager, Juliet Ehimuan, “The goal of the Get Nigerian Business Online program is to make it easier for Nigerian Entrepreneurs to grow their businesses by taking advantage of power of the web.”

Interested participants are expected to have a valid ID card, an active Gmail address (e-mail), a working internet-enabled laptop, IPad or Tablet, company write-up and photos and market material in digital format using a USB or flash drive relating to the business.

Apart from being able to create their own website with support from trainers, business owners also have access to free and easy tool to create a fully functional business web, free gnbo.com.ng sub-domain name, free matching mobile website, free web hosting and free Google collaboration tool to 10 users.
