Dubai-based healthy Fast Food brand, Kcal Healthy Fast Food, has revealed plans to launch its first franchise store in Egypt by December and 14 other branches in the coming months.

“Egypt is an important market for us” said Mark Carroll, Kcal’s co-founder. “We are keen to replicate abroad the model we successfully developed throughout the UAE. We could not have selected a better time for our introduction to Egypt’s consumers, as the country has resumed its march forward on the path to recovery.”

Established in 2010 by Mark Carroll and Andreas LBorgmann, two dynamic entrepreneurs, Kcal is a popular fast food company in the UAE. It has carved a niche for itself as a consumer-centric organisation that serves wide selection of calorie-controlled healthy fast food.

The company does this through its outlet network or through Kcal Extra, the parallel bespoke delivery service business pillar, presently serving thousands of meals per week.

“We know Egyptian consumers will embrace our healthy nutrition, healthy living philosophy” highlighted Andreas LBorgman, Kcal co-founder, adding, “this significant expansion step will soon be replicated throughout the region as we intent to bring our message and our offer globally.”
