The protest against the incumbent government in Algeria has intensified. Several thousand people of Algerian origin came out in mass on Sunday, March 10 for the second weekend in a row at the Republique square in central pans and other cities to demonstrate their displeasure against President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, for seeking another term in office.

A protester, Ahmed Eddaidj stated that he has been a student in France for the past four years, and he’d like to go back to Algeria. “We’re looking for a better life, we need to get rid of the system.”
