Lagos state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced the 10 semi-finalists that will compete in the final hackathon design event slated for 16th to 18th September 2020.

Five finalists emerged from the hardware category in addition to another five from the software group. A few months ago, the Lagos Smart Meter Hackathon competition received 274 entries -127 to compete in the hardware category and 147 in the software category. 

The 10 semi-finalists will compete at the Grand Finale holding at the Eko Innovative Centre, Victoria Island, and Lagos for the N7 million prize money. However, 2 winners will eventually share the prize money of seven million naira.
